Abstract

COVID-19 has made supply chain and logistics risk management a significant aspect of healthcare organizations strategic focus area in 2022 and beyond in the United States. It is essential to consider how medical equipment, medicines, and supplies can save lives but only if they can reach those in need quickly and when most needed. Pandemic-induced disruptions in public health and hospital supply chains have created a need for more responsive and adaptive leadership and organizational practices. This study uses a qualitative research approach to explore the healthcare supply chain and logistics management best practices and innovations in the post-COVID-19 onset world.
